✨ Pixie’s is evolving… and so am I.
For years, many of you have known me through Pixie’s Event Management planning, coordinating, managing details, solving problems behind the scenes, and bringing experiences to life.
But events are only one part of my story.
I’m Chania Townsend an event professional, a people professional, a connector, a problem solver, and somebody who genuinely loves making things happen. 🤎
My professional world has grown to include Human Resources, contingent workforce, people operations, employee experience and professional development, while my love for event planning, logistics, management and coordination has never gone anywhere.
And somewhere along the way, I realized these worlds aren’t as different as they seem.
Both are about people.
Both require strategy.
Both require organization.
Both are about creating an experience.
So instead of keeping those pieces of myself separate, I’m bringing them together.
This page will still be home to Pixie’s Event Management—but you’ll also see more of the woman behind the events: my career journey, HR and workforce insights, networking, community, professional growth, events, and yes… a little personality because I couldn’t leave that part out even if I tried. 😂
