Because I typically like evening lighting best for photos, you'll notice pretty much all times are for 6:00pm or later. If that doesn't work for you, let me know and we can work something out. Also, if you are hoping for fall colors, I will be adding availability for September later this summer.

This weekend was truly special. Back in February, Dr. Peter Haberman shared with me his plans for an alumni event to celebrate 125 years of the Concordia Band. I was honored when he asked if I’d be interested in photographing the event, and yesterday, I had the privilege of doing just that.

It was an incredible experience—not only capturing the reunion of so many alumni but also witnessing the significance of this celebration, with participants representing nearly every graduating class dating back to the 1960s.

I was especially honored to reconnect with my former director, Dr. Scott Jones, and to admire the leadership of Dr. Haberman, who brought this event to life. It was an amazing opportunity to see all four directors—Dr. Jones, Dr. Haberman, Professor Scott Hagen, and Dr. Russ Pesola—each take the podium to conduct during the concert.

Documenting this momentous occasion, surrounded by the legacy of such a historic ensemble, is something I’ll never forget. Here’s to 125 years of the Concordia Band—and many more to come!
