It all began in 2014 as a favor for a friend. It would have been impossible at that time to foresee the journey that began that day and has led us where we are today as ProFish Media. There was no ProFish Media at that first wedding. With just a couple of cameras that I didn’t own flying solo all day I filmed every single detail from start to finish never having filmed or edited a wedding before. I truly thought at that time it was just a one time favor and never thought about another until I got a call very quickly after posting the brides highlight video. One wedding started it all and the rest is history.
As the calls kept coming in one after another I knew I was on to something. I never had film or editing training but I believed I had an eye for it and really enjoyed it. It wasn’t long after that very first wedding that the name ProFish Media was created and we were off and running. Our first year really blew us away with the referrals we were receiving. People loved our work and we began making a name in the wedding community. It’s clear to see how much we’ve learned and how far we’ve come when comparing our first video to our most recent, but one thing that has always been constant is the love, care, and attention to detail we take with each one.
Fast forward almost four years and dozens of weddings across NC at some of the most beautiful locations we’re still amazed at our growth and customer reaction. The best part of our “job” is you, the client. Our clients truly become our friends. When we say we love spending the day with our clients we really mean it. We were not mentored into this business so we have created our own style that people love. Our concept is simple. We want to capture your special day exactly as it happens and as you have planned. We don’t stage or create something artificial. This method is important to our style of editing. When you and your family and friends watch your video we want them to experience the fun, love, excitement, and joy that was your wedding day. We strive to capture the true essence of your day on film and translate it to an audience to experience it the way it happened.
Your wedding day is one of the biggest and most important day of your lives. It is a huge honor for us to have the opportunity to be a part of it. Our promise to you is simple and one we will never break. We will treat each and every wedding with the respect and dignity it deserves. We do not take our task lightly.
