Congratulations to team Boosh out of Hapeville Corner Tavern for winning the 9-Ball World Qualifier. They will be representing the Greater South Atlanta area in the 9-Ball World Championship in Las Vegas in August. It was a hard fought weekend by everyone.

The Fall Appreciation Tournament is this weekend. 8-Ball is on Saturday and 9-Ball is on Sunday. I need 6 more players for 8-Ball and 3 more players for 9-Ball to have full brackets. Text me ASAP to get on the list. 404-414-9496. $25 entry fee with $250 added.

You had to be on a Fall session roster in Greater South Atlanta APA to be eligible to play.

What about them Ladies. This past Sunday was completely dedicated to the Ladies of APA. We had a number of teams fighting for the illustrious Las Vegas spot to represent Greater South Atlanta APA in the Ladies 8-Ball Championship. Our final winners were Kathryn Rouse, Kandice Hutcheson, and Audris Hamilton. But there were some tough matches played all day.

Kudos to Fly, Barb, and Meggie for getting second place.

UPDATE!!! We are up to $250 of the wanted goal of $600 raised. Another gracious gentleman donated $150 to the winning team. Big or small we take it all.

UPDATE!!!!!! so far we have someone sponsoring a team and another patron donated $100 to the winning team.

Men of the APA, I need your help. This Sunday March 1st I am hosting a 3-women team tournament to select Greater South Atlanta’s representatives for the Ladies 8-Ball Championship in Las Vegas at the end of April. While playing on a league night we can see a noticeable difference in the amount of women playing league versus men. I’m working hard to recruit more to the league but that will take time. This disparity affects them this weekend because there are only so many teams that can be formed from the available women that currently play. Which means only so much money can be raised from entry fees to pay for flights and hotel rooms.

I’m adding $600 to this tournament. My ask of the Men of APA is to raise at least another $600 to go towards the winner of this tournament. You can donate anonymously or I’ll shout you out publically, whichever you prefer. Let’s make sure we take care of our fellow APA wives, sisters, daughters, aunts, and grandmothers.

Congratulations to the winners of the 8-Ball Scotch Doubles Vegas Tournament Brad Arnold and Tymber Brumagin

And the winners of the 9-Ball Scotch Doubles Vegas Tournament Robbie Espinosa and Justin Novem.

They will represent Greater South Atlanta APA at the end of April in Las Vegas and be working to bring a trophy back home.

Also a shoutout to Travis Eubanks for being our representative in Las Vegas in April for the 8-Ball Wheelchair Championship.

Congrats to the winners of the Fall Session 2025 8-Ball Tri-Annuals: Go 8-Ball, Double Kiss, Big Daddy’s Hustlers, and Wish ‘N’ Rack.

They will now proceed to the World Qualifier in June 2026 where they will play for one of the spots to Las Vegas.
