Raven, our Tennessee Walking Horse, is recuperating after sustaining a serious leg injury last week. Although it could have been much worse, she is in for a lengthy recovery period. Earlier this evening, she was able to enjoy a few minutes of grazing after being on stall rest for the last few days. Special thanks to Dr. Lynne Sparks for the quick and attentive care.

Happy 155th Birthday West Virginia! Abbot Lawn, the Issac Abbot Log House that is the centerpiece of the farm was constructed in 1863, the same year West Virginia gained statehood.
