It has now been just over two weeks without our Savannah, and we are so incredibly thankful for the outpouring of love, support, and prayers that have surrounded our Legacy family. 💝

We are heartbroken and missing our girl more than words can express. As we continue navigating this unimaginable loss, we ask that you continue to pray for our amazing owner and Savannah’s mom, Erin; Savannah’s big sister and our dear Legacy alum, Wheatley; and all of Savannah’s family and friends who love and miss her so deeply.

Please also continue to pray for our staff and dancers as we navigate the moments that feel different without Savannah and learn how to keep showing up, loving one another, and dancing with her in our hearts.

We will honor our girl through every dance, every practice, every rehearsal, every competition, and every moment in between. Savannah’s light, joy, and love for dance will forever be a part of Legacy, and we will continue dancing for her. 🌟

Tonight, we danced for Savannah with Ricky Maalouf. 🩷

70 dancers joined us to dance, feel, and simply spend time with one another — and we even got a surprise FaceTime call from our Ms. Erin. We love you, Erin!

Ricky, thank you for giving our dancers such a special space to move, feel, and honor Savannah through something she loved so deeply. We are so grateful you shared this night with us.

We’ll keep dancing for our girl and continue to in the days, weeks, months, and years ahead. 🩷

Tomorrow, we will return to the studio and begin taking things one day at a time. 🩷

Today, our teachers met with a grief counselor to talk through how we can best support our dancers as they process their grief and return to class. We have been provided with tools and resources to help us navigate the days and weeks ahead with care, patience, and lots of love.

We know every dancer will grieve differently, and there is no expectation for tomorrow to feel “normal.” We will meet our dancers exactly where they are and take each day as it comes.

More than anything, we are grateful to be together again — dancing, loving on one another, and continuing to Shine Like Savannah. 🩷✨

This was Savannah’s very first solo, and of course, it was hip hop. 🩷

Savannah loved to dance. She loved hip hop, she loved being on stage, and she brought so much joy and personality every single time she danced. Watching this video now makes Monday’s class feel even more special.

On Monday, September 28, we invite EVERY dancer in Northwest Arkansas, from every studio, to join us for a special Hip Hop Master Class with Ricky Maalouf in honor of Savannah.

Dance brought Savannah so much joy, and we can’t think of a more beautiful way to celebrate her than by coming together to do what she loved most.

Let’s fill the room with love, laughter, and dancing for our sweet girl. We know she’ll be dancing right alongside us.

As we prepare to celebrate the beautiful life of our sweet Savannah Grace, we invite our Legacy family, friends, and community to join us in honoring a girl who brought so much light and love into our lives. 🩵

Savannah’s Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 25th, at 10:00 AM at Cross Church Springdale.

We kindly ask everyone to please wear BLUE in honor of Savannah. 🩵

Thank you for the overwhelming love, prayers, and support you have shown Savannah’s family and our Legacy family during this heartbreaking time. We hope you will join us as we come together to remember our sweet Sav, share the joy she brought to this world, and celebrate a life that will forever leave an imprint on our hearts.
