Feeling refreshed and re-inspired! ❄️📸
Today was a win — my A/C is finally working again (hello productivity!), and I just booked a family portrait session in Tulsa for later this month! I’m so excited to get back behind the camera. It’s been a little while, and I’ve truly missed creating those meaningful moments.

For those who don’t know — I’ve been a professional photographer for over 20 years. From portraits and events to live music and editorial work, photography has always been my passion. I also teach photography and love mentoring new creatives who want to find their visual voice.

I’ve been a busy bee the last few days at a CommCon in Fayetteville, AR learning and growing as an entrepreneur and an artist! Thanks to CACHE - Creative Arkansas Community Hub and Exchange for supporting our area and holding events such as these to help us grow the community awareness and support the arts!!

Tomorrow, I’m really excited to be back the the fellas at The Colony filling in for Tom Pevear!! We play 6-8 pm and it should be a great time 🎶❤️

Then I’m hoping I can get to Walnut Valley Festival!!

This Sunday, my band will be performing at Ambralance! A Benefit To Crush Cancer at George's Majestic Lounge!! Come support Ambra Bruce!

Well after being in my photo office for 6 hours, I now have all our cameras organized, batteries charged, sd cards cleared, labeled and put back in the storage shelf. Now, I must finish all class materials. I think I need an assistant lol 😱😱😱

Patti Steel is a multi-instrumentalist artist based in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She plays wind instruments, strings, and spoons with equal flair and passion. She has played with a wide range of bands representing fresh takes on various genres, including bluegrass, folk, country, rock, and blues. She has proved herself a versatile and reliable player, and she always brings high energy and positivity to each and every show. Additionally, she shines as both a lead vocalist and back up singer for some of the areas biggest talents. She stepped out as a solo performer in 2020, playing local and regional venues, as well as numerous festivals. Her debut EP, entitled “No Better,” (2022) is a soulful collection about loss, love, and longing that showcases her seemingly endless talents and explores how to respond positively to life’s challenges and joys alike. It’s always a good time when Patti Steel takes the stage, and we are happy to have her grace ours here at Ozark Mountain Soul, 2024.
