What Does a Magician Assistant Do?
The duties of a magician assistant include helping the magician prepare for their show and performing with them on stage. Your responsibilities often include bringing props to the magician, setting up equipment during the show, and participating in the tricks or illusions. In addition to providing help during the stage show, you may also need to rehearse new magic tricks, help load and unload equipment, and practice skills and timing for the show. Some magician assistants perform or act alongside the magician, while others focus on setting up equipment and props and working backstage during the show.
