🌻🌸 FLOWER FIELD UPDATE – OCTOBER 13TH 🌸🌻

Well folks, our sunflowers gave us about 2 weeks of beautiful blooms, but unfortunately they are starting to fade and are past their prime. 🌻

The good news is our zinnias are still looking beautiful for now! 🌸🌼 We aren't sure how much longer they'll last, so if you've been wanting to come out and enjoy them or snap a few pictures, now is a great time!

🚨 SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10TH – CORN MAZE AREA CLOSED 🚨

Good morning, folks!

Unfortunately, the corn maze and play area at Gillis Family Farm will be CLOSED today, Saturday, October 10th, due to the weather and for the safety of our employees and guests.

We hate having to close, but everyone's safety comes first!

We will continue to monitor the weather and post an update later today about our plans for tomorrow, Sunday, October 11th.

🌽🌻 FALL FUN AT GILLIS FAMILY FARM! 🚜🎃

Alright folks, if you’ve been planning to come visit us this fall, Friday might be your best chance this weekend!

🌻 This will most likely be our LAST WEEKEND for sunflowers! The flowers are still looking good, but they won't last much longer, so come get those pictures while you can! We also have our beautiful zinnia field!

🌧️ Unfortunately, the weather forecast for this weekend isn't looking too promising, with rain moving into the area. We are hoping the forecast changes, but there is a chance we may have to close Saturday and Sunday if the rain moves in.

So don't wait until the weekend! Come see us Friday afternoon and enjoy some fall fun on the farm!

🌽 Good Saturday morning, folks!

We ARE going to open the play area and corn maze this morning, but we’re doing things a little differently today due to the chance of rain.

🚜 There will be NO hayride today. With rain possible, we don’t want our hay bales getting wet and potentially becoming moldy.

🌧️ If it begins to rain, we may also have to shut down the slides and jumping pillows for safety, since those surfaces can become very slick when wet.

Because of these changes, we are reducing admission today to $10/person.
👶 Ages 2 & under are FREE
⚠️ No additional discounts will apply today.

If rain looks like it is moving in, we reserve the right to stop admission or close the farm early for safety.

🎟️ RAIN CHECK POLICY: If we have to close due to rain and you have been at the farm for less than 1 hour, you will receive a rain check to come back another day during our fall season.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding! We’re going to enjoy the day for as long as Mother Nature lets us. 🌽🍂

🚜 Hayrides begin at 4 PM, one hour after opening.

Saturday: 10 AM–6 PM

Here’s how the flowers are looking today! 😍

🌻 There are no props in the flower field — just sunflowers and zinnias.

🎟️ Everyone will enter and check in at the ticket/concession stand located at the playground.

⚠️ Please note: All playground activities and farm animals will NOT be available tonight. Tonight is for the flower fields only.
