Employee Spotlight: Tiffany Thompson
This week’s employee spotlight is on one of our favorite people, Tiffany Thompson.
Tiffany joined the Grateful Fed family in 2025 as a part-time cater waiter, but it didn’t take long for us to figure out where her heart really lives.
The kitchen.
While she’s always willing to jump in and help wherever we need her, Tiffany’s happy place is definitely behind the scenes prepping, chopping, cooking, frying, and helping make the magic happen.
And let me tell you, this woman has probably cut more potatoes, cooked more broccoli, and made more cheeseburger sliders than anyone in the building besides Pete.
Tiffany is a nurse by profession, but if you’ve ever spent time around her, you’ll quickly discover she’s also a true food lover. One of my favorite things about Tiffany is seeing the meals she creates at home. She understands something I’ve always believed:
You eat with your eyes first.
Whether she’s cooking for her family or sharing photos of something she’s made, everything is beautiful, thoughtful, and made with love. She takes pride in feeding people well, and I think that’s one of the reasons she fits in so naturally at Grateful Fed.
Of course, we have our fair share of fun too.
One of our favorite ongoing jokes is that while Tabby is always threatening to put Pete in the nursing home, Tiffany is quick to remind everyone that as the nurse, she’s the one who decides whether he gets Jell-O that day.
So whenever Pete gets a little out of hand, Tiffany’s response is simple:
“No Jell-O for you.”
And somehow it never stops being funny.
Tiffany found her way to us through her lifelong friendship with Angela, our office manager (and my cousin). They’re even birthday twins, which somehow makes perfect sense.
What I appreciate most about Tiffany, though, is the energy she brings into the building.
She’s kind.
She’s gentle.
She’s hardworking.
She’s dependable.
She’s funny.
And she fit into our crazy little family from day one.
Not long ago, Tiffany told me that sometimes coming to work at Grateful Fed feels like therapy.
As someone who feels the same way about being in the kitchen, I understood exactly what she meant.
The kitchen can be a place of comfort, connection, creativity, and healing. Sometimes we need it as much as it needs us.
And when Tiffany told me that sometimes she comes for the hugs, it honestly touched my heart.
Because at Grateful Fed, that’s who we are.
We’re the people who say “Love you!” when someone leaves for the day.
We’re the people who celebrate each other’s wins.
We’re the people who show up when life gets hard.
We’re family.
Tiffany, thank you for every Saturday, every smile, every laugh, every potato you’ve chopped, every slider you’ve made, and every bit of love you’ve poured into our team.
We are incredibly grateful you’re part of the Grateful Fed family.
