The harsh truth about “self-care” that no one wants to admit:

We’ve overcomplicated something that should be simple.

🔊 You don’t need more noise.
⌛️ You don’t need another routine.

What you need is a deep connection:

🌲 To your body.
🌳 To the present moment.
🌴 To something real.

That’s what grounding gives you.

I have many joyful notes for today's

🎭️Suffs was amazing, and my family had a great time together at the theater.
🌿I have prepped my herb beds readying them for the spring and summer.
🏵️I am making great progress on my business plan.
💰️A grant I wrote was funded this week.

🌲My excitiment to see at the Fischer Theater.
