We had 27 nominees this week, and I want to say something important as we continue through the month:
PLEASE do not share your nominee’s story with me.
I don’t need to know the details, and honestly, some of these stories are far too heavy for me to carry. This isn’t my business. All I need is their name so that we can get a little sunshine to them. 🌸
And then, in the sweetest twist of all, I was surprised with flowers myself! 💐
A beautiful wrap this customer brought me from Riverside Greenhouses & Florist completely caught me off guard! And then a friend showed up with a bucket of zinnias to help offset some of the costs and add even more beauty to our giveaway. 🌼 (we will be sending multiple arrangements this week).
It’s funny how quickly kindness comes full circle. ❤️
You never really know how much a small act of kindness can mean to someone—or where that kindness might end up next.
Keep supporting each other. Keep showing up. Keep spreading the love.
There’s plenty of good in this world, and I’m so grateful to be surrounded by people who prove it every day. 🌸❤️

🌻 Happy Wednesday! 🌻
Many of you may not know this, but my degree is in the mental health field, and when I’m not at the shop, I still work in Psychiatric Emergency Services.
September is Su***de Awareness Month, and this is a topic that hits close to home for so many of us. Many of us have been affected by mental health challenges—whether personally, through a family member, a friend, or someone we love.
The world feels especially heavy for a lot of people right now. Sometimes, a small gesture can make a bigger difference than we realize. ❤️
So, for the remainder of September, every Friday we would like to send a fresh arrangement to someone who could use a little pick-me-up, a smile, or simply a reminder that someone is thinking about them. 💐

***Store front will be closed Friday for volunteer work! I will be joining the High Peaks Alliance at the new Sherry Walwrath Memorial trail for trail clean up! Always looking to give back to the community and not passing up a chance to play in the woods!
All Friday orders WILL be filled and go out in the afternoon!

When someone calls the shop after receiving their order just to say thank you, it truly makes my heart so happy. ❤️
In today’s chaotic, often negative world, it’s incredible that people still take the time to make a call and let us know that the flowers were perfect. Those little moments mean more than you know.

Two years ago today, I took a huge leap of faith and bought a flower shop. 🌸
Owning a flower shop has been a big dream of mine since I was very young—something I honestly never thought would actually come to fruition. And yet, here I am, two years later. ❤️

These past two years have taught me more than I ever could have imagined. I’ve experienced the triumphs, the joy, and the incredible moments that come with running a business, but I’ve also learned firsthand about the stress, sacrifices, and challenges that come with being your own boss.

I was warned that the first few years of owning a business would be tough, but I don’t think I could have fully understood just how many obstacles I’d have to overcome. There have been plenty of moments when I’ve questioned myself, but somehow, I’ve kept going, growing, learning, and building.

One thing that has carried me through it all is the incredible support from my customers, friends, and family. You have believed in me, supported this little shop, and helped me get through what has definitely been a challenging start.

Two years in, I’m proud of how far I’ve come, grateful for every lesson, and excited for everything still to come. 🌷

Here’s to two years of taking chances, chasing dreams, overcoming obstacles, and doing what I once only dreamed of doing. 🥂🌸
