"Almighty God, today we pause to remember.

We honor the men and women who served our nation and are no longer with us. For those who gave their lives in battle, for those who carried the weight of war home and have since passed, and for every veteran who left us too soon — we speak their names in our hearts.

Thank You for their courage, their sacrifice, and the freedom we hold because of them. Ease the sorrow of families who still grieve, and let them feel the pride behind their tears.

Help us, the living, to be worthy of their legacy. May we serve our veterans, protect our nation, and never forget the cost of liberty.

Grant eternal peace to our fallen. Guard those who still stand watch. And hold us together as one AMVETS family until we meet again.

We remember. We honor. We will not forget. Amen."
