It's official! We've received your feedback and have decided to keep these two beautiful dahlias from our test program. Now it's time to name them, and for that, we need your help!

Here's something fun for you.

Dahlias. We have a Love/Hate relationship with them. We love their diversity and absolute beauty. However, they're a lot of work, especially this time of year.

One of the joys we have with them is hybridizing new ones. You're just never sure what you're going to get. Some we keep because they check lots of our "desirable boxes". Others, sadly, we don't keep - for whatever reason.

Here are two that we've been watching for a couple of years. So, here's the question: Should we keep them? Both are tall, have good stems, are good producers (lots of blooms), and are healthy, sturdy plants. The darker variety on the right, however, is inconsistent in its bloom shape and with a slightly lesser petal count, shows its center quickly.

What are your thoughts? Keep both, neither, just one?

If we end up keeping one or both, we'll have a naming contest next!
