YOGA AND FLOWERS!!! What could be better?!

Join us on Tuesday, August 5th, for our monthly yoga class with Stacy from .

Breathe through a fantastic yoga flow in the gorgeous setting of our main lawn area in front of the flower lined pergola. Then, afterwards, browse through the gardens while to pick from florals and greens to arrange for days of enjoyment back home.

Thank you, South Portland Parks Recreation & Waterfront seniors for coming out for a private Pick-Your-Own. We absolutely LOVED having you out to experience the gardens! ... and your picks were simply gorgeous!!!

For anyone else out there who loves nature, flowers, and gardens, why not schedule your own private picking experience? Whether groups or individuals, just bring a good pair of shoes and a hat (maybe a lunch) and leave the rest to us!

Fun ways to experience and support the farm on Saturday, August 2nd:

1) Vase Return Day - Return a gently used Shepherd's Gate Flower vase and be entered into a drawing for flowers or logo gear! 9am to Noon.
2) The Boutique. - Browse and shop our very own gift shop for gardening equipment, home decor, and gifts. 9am to Noon.
3) Painting Series - Join our creative painting series to have fun recreating a floral masterpiece. Beginner/entry level. This is #1 of 3 Saturdays at 10am. Relaxed and creative setting.
4) Pick-Your-Own Flowers. - 1 hour time slots available at either 10am or 11am to come enjoy the grounds while harvesting flowers to take home.

Registration is needed for both the painting series and PYO. Go to the Online Store via our website and navigate to either "Workshops" or "Pick-Your-Own". Link in bio.

We just finished doing a preliminary walk through with this weekend's herbalist. She pointed out a number of medicinal herbs that she plans to cover during her walk. The discoveries, even in that short walk, were fascinating... plus, we got to nibble on a few "weeds." Awesome!

She'll be with us this Saturday morning, 10 am, for a garden walk. Afterward, we'll head into the classroom where she'll share some resources and let everyone sample some teas, tinctures, etc.

We can't recommend this walk enough!

Each year, we partner with an area photographer to allow people within the surrounding communities to come and take amazing flower farm pictures right here on the farm! This year, on August 14th, Dragonfly photography returns during the beautiful light of golden hour to offer 15 minute photography sessions. These sessions include all files and run only $325.
