1️⃣: Where are the outlets? This doesn’t seem like a big deal, but it will impact things like where your piano player can set up their keyboard for the ceremony.
2️⃣: Where are you lining up for the ceremony? Make sure you have a comfortable place to wait & a plan to stay out of view of guests.
3️⃣: Is there signage to direct guests, or are they going to wander and get lost? It’s an easy fix with some DIY signage or staffing, but better to catch it before wedding day!

Don’t assume when it comes to dinner timing on your wedding day!

Whether you’ll be having plated service or a buffet, ask the caterer how long they anticipate this will take. It’s super dependent on the individual caterer, your guest count, and the venue setup.

This may seem like a minor detail. But when you’re trying to plan key moments like toasts or ensure the photographer has enough time to get dance floor footage, it all matters!⏱️

By this point in the day, formalities are behind you. Hair is usually a little looser, and smiles tend to look more relaxed.

Add in gorgeous sunset lighting and you have a recipe for what usually turns out to be some of the best photos of the day.

Don’t just hope you’ll sneak away to do sunset photos - schedule a block in your timeline! It really only takes a few minutes, and you’ll be glad you did. The results speak for themselves.💛

If you spent all summer stressing over wedding decisions, it's time for a fall reset!🍂

There are so many decisions involved in planning a wedding, and not all of them deserve the same amount of time & energy.

As we head into a new season, here's my advice: do your research, make a thoughtful choice, and then move on. At a point, you have to stop looking on Pinterest!

Save your energy for the decisions that actually matter (hint: you already made the biggest one💍).
