Elite Event Waitstaff & Bartenders – Fine Dining Experience Required
Serene Event Services is seeking elite, experienced waitstaff and bartenders with fine-dining or upscale hospitality experience to join our professional event team.
We provide staffing for private parties, corporate events, celebrations, and upscale gatherings throughout Long Island, NYC, the Lower Hudson Valley, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Florida.
PER DIEM EVENT WORK
This is per diem/event-based work. There are no guaranteed weekly hours. Events are offered based on client bookings, location, availability, experience, and staffing needs.
All events have a 4-hour minimum.
COMPENSATION
Starting at $25/hour + tips
Rates may vary depending on experience, position, location, and event assignment.
FINE-DINING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
We are specifically looking for hospitality professionals with experience in:
* Fine dining
* Upscale restaurants
* Luxury hotels
* High-end catering
* Private events
* Elevated hospitality environments
ELITE WAITSTAFF
Responsibilities include:
* Providing elevated, attentive table and guest service
* Plated and buffet service
* Passing hors d’oeuvres
* Clearing and resetting tables
* Maintaining a clean and organized service area
* Anticipating guest needs
* Assisting the host and event team
* Maintaining a polished and professional presence
ELITE BARTENDERS
Responsibilities include:
* Providing professional bar service
* Preparing and serving cocktails and beverages
* Maintaining a clean and organized bar
* Providing attentive guest service
* Maintaining a polished and professional presence
* Following Serene Event Services’ service standards
Bartenders are required to provide their own professional bar tools and equipment necessary to perform their duties, including a shaker, strainer, jigger, bar spoon, wine/bottle opener, and other standard bartender tools.
The client provides the alcohol, mixers, ice, cups/glassware, garnishes, and other bar supplies unless otherwise arranged.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are looking for individuals who are:
* Experienced in fine dining or upscale hospitality
* Polished, well-groomed, and professionally presented
* Knowledgeable about proper dining etiquette and elevated service
* Confident and personable with guests
* Able to anticipate guest needs
* Reliable and punctual
* Comfortable working in private residences and upscale venues
* Detail-oriented
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Available for evenings and weekends
* Able to travel to various event locations
* Equipped with reliable transportation
* Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS
Serene Event Services represents a high level of hospitality. Team members are expected to arrive 10–15 minutes early, follow our professional dress code, maintain a polished appearance, and treat every client, guest, and property with respect.
