Growing up in Farmer City, Thursday night before a home game meant one thing: football and spaghetti. 🏈🍝
​For over 30 years, my grandpa, Coach Bud Maynard, and my grandma, Cora, opened their hearts and their home to Blue Ridge football. Before I was even old enough to be in high school, I remember, as does my Mother before me, watching the team pile into their house on Thursday nights while Grandma Cora filled their bellies with spaghetti and Grandpa prepped them for Friday’s game plan.
​Though that tradition faded away as the years went on, the memory of their love for these kids, this town, and Blue Ridge sports never did.
​Tonight, things came completely full circle. ❤️
​When the Blue Ridge football program asked local spots to help feed the team on Thursdays before home game nights, I jumped at the chance. Getting to serve tonight’s team in true Maynard fashion—with a little Lolli’s Kitchen twist—means the world to me.
​On tonight’s menu for the Knights:

🥖 Lolli’s Garlic Herb Toast
​Bringing this tradition forward in my own little way is a tribute to my grandparents' legacy and a nod to the good old days. Grandma Cora and Coach Bud are definitely smiling down tonight.

Thanks everyone for the overwhelming response to the Fish Wagon tacos today! We have about 6 orders left for tomorrow but we will be adding in a slow cooked shredded chicken taco topped with corn, lettuce, cheese and black beans to the mix as well! See you at the window!

The cool weather is here! It’s finally casserole season, and we are diving right in at Lolli's Kitchen!
​Thursday and Friday only this week from 11 AM to 1 PM, we’ve got two loaded, comforting lunch window specials waiting for you. Here is the lineup for this week:
​🔥 Loaded Chicken Enchilada Casserole ($17)
Packed with tender shredded chicken, enchilada sauce, black beans, corn, salsa, green onions, and plenty of cheese, layered up with tortillas throughout. Served with our house-made lime chips and a warm cup of cheese sauce for dipping.
​🐟 Classic Tuna Noodle Casserole ($17)
Our comforting, creamy egg noodle and tuna bake made with tender peas and rich cream of mushroom. Topped with crushed potato chips. Served with garlic bread sticks and cheese sauce for dipping
