Brianna "Bri" Thompson is a life-long Fargo-Moorhead resident, MSUM graduate, and member of the ND Army National Guard who is currently pursuing a degree in Pharmacy at NDSU. Recently, she was diagnosed with Stage IV Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer. In late August, Bri had surgery on both of her hip bones and left leg and is currently using a wheelchair to prevent fractures as she continues her chemo and radiation treatment. Bri's significant other has been a child care provider in the community for over 20 years and is making a career change to better support Bri and ensure she is not exposed to life-threatening germs.
