Mutton Bustin has been postponed

Muleskinners was recently put on the real estate market to be sold. I’m sure a lot of people have made memories there throughout its 48 years, and for the Culpepper family, it was definitely a sad day.

But I’m here to tell you—Muleskinners isn’t going anywhere!

Through a joint venture, Virgil Culpepper and family were able to secure Muleskinners and will continue to own and manage it.

We will continue to preserve Muleskinners as one of Karnes County’s little hidden gems. Over the past few years, we have truly enjoyed being able to support so many individuals, families, organizations, and events throughout our community.

Muleskinners will continue to support Karnes County and our little community of Deweesville for many years to come.

We are proud of the history, memories, and friendships that have been made at Muleskinners, and we look forward to making many more.

Muleskinners isn’t just a building—it’s a part of our community, and we’re going to keep it that way!

Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years. We appreciate each and every one of you! ❤️🤠
