Over the years of vetting vendors, many times when I tell them to have a space at any of our events I must do a background check on them, I never hear from them again.

Some others question why I do it, telling me no one else requires that to get a vendor space.

I understand it could be a privacy issue, or they may have something to hide.

The ones that amaze me are the ones that let me do the check and I find out about assaults, theft, many DUI’s, fraud, etc and of course I let them know they are not approved for our vendor list.

The sad thing is sometimes if they were honest prior to my check, letting me know about past incidents, maybe it would be O.K.

Examples I had vendors who for many years now have had a nice clean record, but as they put it when they were young and stupid they got caught shoplifting, another got caught in a stolen car (not the driver) being caught up with the wrong crowd.

These folks were honest, have proven that was in their past and were already punished and remorseful.

They were accepted compared to those who hoped that I would not find anything and want to remain in the shadows. This to me registers bad karma and bad vibes.

I was telling my OLD friend that I will be at this event.

I will be dressed in white easy to find either walking around or at the reception desk.

As always look forward to meeting and talking to anyone that wants to talk about anything metaphysical, the vendors there, the event itself or stories from my previous career in the U.S. Secret Service.

This event can be a life changing experience or just a fun time, hope to see you there.

Free Entrance but donations are appreciated. and helpful.
