Our mission is to preserve and promote Romanian cultural traditions in the communities who appreciate the value of American cultural diversity. Our mission is to preserve and promote Romanian cultural traditions in the United States, for the benefit not only of the Romanian community, but also for that of all the communities that appreciate the value of American cultural diversity. The "Bucovina"
Folk Ensemble was established in 2011 to preserve Romanian cultural heritage in the United States of America. The group includes former dancers of the "Ciprian Porumbescu" Professional Artistic Ensemble from Suceava. The group has extensive stage experience and a deep respect for Romanian traditions. Their main goal is to promote and preserve Romanian folk dance, offering the diaspora a chance to reconnect with the authentic values of Romanian folklore. Through each performance, the "Bucovina" Folk Ensemble brings the beauty of traditional costumes, the authenticity of dance steps, and the unique energy of various Romanian folkloric regions, such as Bucovina, Transylvania, Moldova, Muntenia, Oltenia, and Maramureș, to Romanian-American communities. In over a decade of activity, the group has participated in numerous cultural events, festivals, and diaspora gatherings, becoming a symbol of preserving Romanian identity across the ocean. We express emotion, history, and love for our homeland through dance. The "Bucovina"Folk Ensemble is more than just a dance group – it is a living bridge between generations and continents.
