At second glance it’s a bucket of flower petals.

To me this is a mom growing a business. Yesterday’s first day of school was also a Flower Share pick up day, both the Full Season members and the first week of Dahlia Share. I juggled the first day traditions, early bus, and school drop offs, before heading back to the farm to finish making bouquets. With my youngest by my side. He used his imagination and made flower petal soup. He was particular about colors he needed and stirring them gently. It’s his most prized possession right now.

This is how moms make it work. Fostering imaginations, while making their dreams come true too.

Mommy & Me in the Blooms is September 6th from 9:30-11am

Each mom (dad, grandparent, or other guardian!) and child will get their own jar to fill with the flowers they love and time spent together in a beautiful space!

Tickets and all information on our website! All tickets must be purchased in advance and there is a limited number.

One year ago today, the town of Perinton came to the farm for our official ribbon cutting. It was such a fun day to celebrate the farm and this big dream of mine.

I had no idea this came with a proclamation of “Toad Hill Blooms Day”. My husband likes to remind me that the paper says 2025, but I’ll be celebrating this every year!!

Also, I never had it on my bucket list, but using those giant scissors was definitely list worthy! Highly recommend everyone gets a chance to use them!

Thank you Town of Perinton for celebrating the businesses that make up this wonderful town! And for taking so many pictures of the farm, I love seeing it through the eyes of other people!
