today we honor the life, love, and legacy of Virginia Eileen Briand—our guiding light, our inspiration, and the heart behind everything we do at little bird.

her grace, strength, and quiet wisdom will shape the way we welcome guests, nourish community, and create beauty in every moment.

though she is no longer with us, her presence fills every corner of little bird, and her spirit lives on in the laughter, the care, and the joy we share each day with her son and our friend, Chef Bill Briand.

today we celebrate Chef Bill’s mother’s birthday on Victory Day, with each room matching it’s own theme in honor of her life, and one of the many spaces we will have to dine in has been named “victory hall” in her honor.

capitalizing on the home’s beauty, the first floor houses a grand bar, multiple dining rooms and al fresco opportunities. the second-floor offers an intimately-scaled dining room ideal for smaller parties and special occasions. also on the second floor, victory hall, perfect for larger parties and private gatherings. design details coming soon!

chef bill’s mother, virginia, served her country proudly as a naval nurse and her friends as a quick-witted gourmet cook. our restaurant will serve our patrons proudly through thoughtful cuisine while treasuring her spirit.
