1. What are your opening hours? Doors open at 4 PM Tuesday - Saturday with food truck service 4 PM to 8:30 PM and the bar open late. Closed Sunday and Monday.
2. What beverages do you offer? Our cider is always on tap, complemented by guest taps featuring Io
wa craft beer. Additionally, we have a full bar offering classic and craft cocktails, wine, champagne, and a variety of N/A options.
3. Do you serve food? Yes, we host food trucks each night that we're open. This season's resident food truck is Shokai Food Truck, serving everything BUT sushi! Follow our social media for menu updates along with announcements of guest food trucks! While we no longer offer nightly burger service, our famous apple-finished beef burgers, brisket, and more are available for private events by reservation only. 4. How do I order food during inclement weather? Ordering will take place inside during inclement weather to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for our guests.
5. Do you host live music? Yes, we frequently feature live music performances. Check our events calendar on our website or social media for upcoming shows.
6. What seating options do you have? We offer a variety of seating options to accommodate different preferences and group sizes. Inside, we have bar stools, large Brauhaus-style tables ideal for large groups and communal seating, as well as more intimate high-top tables. Both the main floor and loft seating areas provide unique atmospheres, with the loft offering extra-great views. Outside, guests can enjoy our patio or relax on our large lawn at picnic tables, or even feel free to bring your own picnic blankets!
7. Are you family-friendly? Absolutely! We welcome guests of all ages and are proud to be a family-friendly establishment.
8. Can I bring my dog? Dogs are permitted on leash at the picnic tables on the lawn only. Please clean up after your pet immediately, and note that no dogs are allowed inside or off-leash.
9. Can I host a private event at your venue? Yes, our cidery taproom and events center is available for private events, parties, and gatherings. 10. Can I buy your cider to go? We offer growlers and cans for purchase. Check out our retail section or ask our staff for more information.
11. Can I bring my own food or drinks? Outside food and drinks are not permitted. We have a variety of options available for purchase.
12. Is your cider gluten-free? Yes, our cider is gluten-free, providing a delicious and accessible option for all of our guests to enjoy.
13. Is your taproom accessible for individuals with disabilities? Yes, our main floor Brauhaus-style tables and patio are wheelchair accessible. We also have designated handicap parking spots located right at the cemented entryway for convenient access. Please note that while our parking lot is gravel, the handicap spots are specially situated for ease of use.
14. Do you offer cidery tours? Yes, cidery tours are available by appointment only. To schedule a tour, please email Nikki at [email protected].
15. Where can I buy FS Cider? We are currently distributed across Iowa, Kansas, and Nebraska. Additionally, our cider is available for order shipped directly to your doorstep at fscider.com.
16. Do you sell gift cards? Yes, we offer physical gift cards available for purchase in our taproom and digital gift cards on our website. Existing gift cards are redeemable at the bar. Please note that food trucks are third-party vendors, so payment will be separate, and FS Cider House gift cards cannot be used for food payments.
17. Do you take reservations? We do not take reservations; it's first come, first serve. For larger groups, we offer wing rentals, table rentals, loft rentals, and lawn rentals to accommodate your gathering needs. Please contact Nikki at [email protected] to plan your next event!
