Our final student shoutout goes to our junior-in-college, Hannah!
Since 2020, Hannah has been an invaluable part of our team when she officially started out helping in the greenhouses. Since then she has made her way to the “down front” crew, where she’s become one of our lead spring cashiers. She’s also stepped up our social media game and is now working alongside her mom helping with wedding planning and organizing.
Hannah loves organizing, planning, and bringing her ideas to life—qualities we know will serve her well and help make her an amazing teacher when she graduates. We love watching her grow. And one of our favorite things is watching her slip into teaching mode when she’s helping customers learn about their plants and how to care for them.
We can’t wait to see where the future takes her, but we’re more than thrilled that she’ll continue to be part of the Sunset crew whenever she’s not in class or substitute teaching.
We’re so proud of you, Hannah, and everything you’re becoming.

Our final senior shoutout goes to Callum! We hope you had a great first day and are ready to make the most of your senior year!
Callum managed to work for us this spring and summer in between camping trips, LAX, soccer, running, and everything else that keeps a busy senior on the go! He is truly one of the most polite young men around and is always willing to jump in and do whatever is asked of him. Whether it’s making soil, tackling an odd job, or helping with whatever the day brings, Callum has always been someone we can count on. He may not have been seen in the front greenhouses much, but he definitely was a huge help this season.
While we’re a little sad to see all our seniors head back to school, we hope they all know they are always welcome to come back!
