At Home Florist

Megan Evans has always had an interest in flowers. Her first experience in floral design came from a horticulture class at Freeman High School. She learned how to make simple corsage and boutonnieres for her school dances. After that she choose to pursue floral design in her first year at Spokane Community College. She learned the basic skills it took to design floral arrangements, and create boutonnières and corsages. Once she completed a year of floral design, she choose to follow a career in banking and then in customer service.

Flowers were always a part of her life, even if they were not a source of income. She had many opportunities to design for friends and family. After some careful consideration she chose to quit her job and become a stay at home mom in 2017. At home she was able to spend more time in her garden and growing the flowers she loves.

After designing bouquets for a family member’s wedding this winter Megan chose to finally pursue her dream of floral design as a business. Her goal is to provide her local community with an option for floral services closer to home. She has a passion for her community as it is where she was born and raised, and where she chose to raise her children. Flowers can bring a community together, and they are a perfect way to express your feelings to family and friends. They are important in times of celebration, and in times of togetherness.

As a stay at home mom, Megan has a flexible schedule and a openness to new designs and ways to express her creativity. Because of this, she is willing to work with her customers to create one-of-a-kind designs for any occasion. Megan is excited to bring floral design to her local community, from weddings to proms and everything in between!
