Reveal #5 (the last!) Thanks for hanging in this week! This is more an announcement, but pretty exciting.
Would you like to incorporate more music by women composers into your violin teaching? Join Dr. Cora Cooper (compiler and editor, Violin Music by Women and Viola Music by Women anthologies) and Claire Allen (studio violin teacher in Northern Virginia, long-time user of the violin anthology) for this asynchronous online course you can do at your own pace, anytime!
In this course, you will learn:
--how the pieces can fit into either a Suzuki or traditional teaching curriculum
--why these particular pieces were chosen, and how they were found
--teaching tips for all the pieces, from both Claire and Cora
--more detail about each composer's life
--historical background explaining why music by women has been so little known

One of the best things about rehearsal is learning from and being inspired by each other!

There are two spots open for new private students in the studio calendar for the 2025-2026 school year - 3:30 pm on Monday or Wednesday. These would be the perfect times for a middle schooler who can come right after school, an elementary schooler with an early release time or who is able to leave school a little early, or a homeschooler.
