Gentle reminder heading into the second half of busy season, our team is hard at work on the weekends setting up, organizing and attending to our couples getting married that day.

Wedding Tip Tuesday- Fun fact, buy 3-4 times the number of guests you have for cups for your wedding! No One keeps the same cup all night long, so there is a ton of waste involved. Someone gets a drink, sets it down on a random table to hug someone and boom, there are 3 and the cannot remember which is theirs. So new cup it is!

Wedding Tip Tuesday- Aisle Runners- MY clients know we DO NOT recommend paper or plastic aisle runners. They do not lay flat, stay wrinkled, most venues won't allow us to "stick" them to walk ways and create a major tripping hazard! Instead use our lanterns, or LED candles, signage and tons of flower petals! Check with your venue whether real or artificial are allowed!

Wedding Tip Tuesday- This one is for the men! Weddings can be a very long, HOT day! If you want to be comfortable, order a spare shirt. After first look and photos, or after a ceremony in the sun, having a clean, pressed shirt to change into makes all the difference for a comfortable dinner and start to the reception! Don't forget the deodorant!

Wedding Tip Tuesday- While weddings are about the couple, we do recommend thinking about your guests comfort. For a hot summer wedding, offer guests an ice water station pre ceremony, fans that double as favors or choosing an area with shade. For fall/winter weddings, a hot chocolate or hot cider bar, cozy blankets or fire pits help ward the chill away!

Fun Fact! One of the things we love about being a full service coordinator, is our DIY parties we offer at the shop! Want to spend the afternoon with your favorite friends, creating something for your wedding, that is where we come in! We have created centerpieces, bouquets, invitations, wedding favors, bridal party gifts and hotel bags! We have so much fun and getting to create these items makes a fun memory for your guests and friends! And as a bonus- you get to check something off your list!!
