It has been a weird year at the farm. Lots of new issues and lots and lots of loss. But every time I think of quitting and living a non stressed out life, something lights a fire in me and I keep going!

Today it was lisianthus. My first batch got destroyed by fungus early in the year. I have some random scraggly ones and then 18" beauties. Why one row struggles and the other is amazing is one of those mysteries of life I guess🤷🏼‍♀️

Still here, but struggling, but also sorta love it.

Ahhhh my dahlias finally started blooming just in time for 100° weather to shut them down 😭 this weeks subscriptions got the first dahlias or the first zinnias. Because I was late on zinnia starting 🤦🏼‍♀️ prepping for fall flowers all next week though! In-between the w**ding of course.

Ok plant dorks! I need recommendations for weird trees! I have a list but I feel like I am missing some cool weirdos. Zone 9b so I will try some not so hardy stuff. I have a bit of acacia, eucalyptus, hakea and banksia but I have some coveted morning sun afternoon shade spots that need some weirdos too 😉😉

Here is a little look into what subscription arrangements look like. I really get to play with the ingredients. Things I only planted a little of to trial. Things in my landscape that are too hard to grow on a large scale. The first few blooms of a crop or the last few. Generally they have a few items that I don't have available on my wholesale list. Every week has a new little something in it!
