May was full of every emotion.
This little flower shop celebrated its third birthday, and I spent some time reflecting on what an incredible journey it has been. As a florist, you have the privilege of being part of people’s happiest moments, but also some of their hardest days.
This month, I found myself missing my Nana quite a bit as I worked with blooms she planted on the farm years ago in some of my weddings. She shared her love of flowers with me, and working with blooms she planted years ago made me feel especially close to her this month.
I am constantly reminded of how fortunate I am to live out this dream, surrounded by such an amazing community. This month, we celebrated mothers, teachers, nurses, daycare providers, and so many others. We sent flowers for joyful occasions, “just because” moments, and to bring a little comfort during times of grief.
May also brought Memorial Day, a time of remembrance as we honored those who gave their lives in service to our country, and reflected on loved ones we hold in our hearts.
It is truly an honor to create meaningful floral designs for every occasion—to help celebrate life’s greatest joys and offer comfort during life’s deepest sorrows.
When you genuinely love what you do, that passion finds its way into every arrangement. As this May wraps up, I am filled with gratitude for every customer, every order, and every person who has supported this little flower shop along the way. 💐💕
