The Marketing Manager plays a key role in advancing the mission by leading organization-wide storytelling, marketing, and communications efforts that center on youth voice, inclusive storytelling, and community engagement.

This role helps share the impact of Camp Fire through social media, newsletters, photography, videography, print materials, events, and digital communications — all while helping to ensure more young people have access to nature and a sense of belonging in the outdoors.

We’re looking for someone who is creative, collaborative, detail-oriented, and passionate about youth development, equity, and community-centered storytelling.

✨ Salary range: $48,000–$58,000 + competitive benefits package

This year has been filled with muddy boots, curious questions, tiny discoveries, new friendships, and so much joyful learning in nature through our StormHawks Preschool partnership. From exploring trails and spotting wildlife to creating, imagining, and growing together outdoors, these children reminded us every day of the wonder that can be found outside!

Last week, our StormHawks preschoolers became busy little beavers! 🦫🌿

Campers learned that beavers are the only animals besides humans that can completely change an ecosystem by turning rivers and streams into ponds. They discovered how beavers use their tails to swim, warn others of danger with a big tail slap, and pack mud to build strong dams and lodges.

The best part? The kids were especially excited to learn that beavers live and work together as families, just like our camp community. 💚 Of course, they had to try it themselves by building their own beaver dams outside!

Camp Fire Minnesota is committed to providing a safe, healthy, and risk-informed experience for all campers. As part of this commitment, we go through an extensive accreditation process every five years through the American Camp Association (ACA), the only national accrediting body for camps.

As an ACA-accredited organization, we look forward to welcoming the ACA to our camp this year. This voluntary, peer-reviewed process helps us demonstrate our dedication to health and safety procedures.
