On our property we are constructing a timeless, two-story, custom-built event space with all the modern amenities. We have a serene, outdoor space nestled among mature trees with a lake nearby that will provide a unique area for couples to exchange vows. Our open air patios with cozy spaces will be perfect for the overflow of a large reception, a company picnic or a family reunion. VENUE HIGHLIGHTS:

Steve and I are celebrating our 35th marriage anniversary today! I say “marriage” anniversary because the wedding was just the beginning! The marriage, the teamwork, the love, and the legacy are what it’s about.

We married young and we’ve been a dynamic duo ever since. Even when we were separated by war, or busy with our three daughters, or building a life we could be proud of, we’ve focused on serving each other and keeping God at the center of our marriage.

📌 Dear young couples, this simple post makes it sound so easy but truly it’s not. Every day has to be intentional, marriage is focused work, and you have to make time for each other. Even after 35 years, we’re still reminding ourselves of this.

What brought us to today is such a long love story but we are incredibly blessed that it’s still unfolding! Steve’s unwavering support and dedication to all of my big ideas and dreams is incredible. Have you ever witnessed a bride and groom play their own live music for their wedding? We’d hadn’t either until our sweet niece, Shelby and her husband LeRoy were forced to alter many of their wedding plans, as so many other couples did, when 🦠 hit.

The result was the most meaningful union of two people we have ever witnessed at Emerson Fields. They were forced to be intentional with every single element they chose for their day. With just their immediate family by their side, they sang, they cried, they danced, and they joined in a union of marriage!

Step ONE: Set Your Wedding Budget and Draft Your Guest List

But how? Here are three simple ways to start:

1️⃣ Open Conversations: Sit down with all contributors and decision-makers to establish a realistic budget soon. Planning a wedding in 6 months or less means everyone needs to be on the same page from the beginning. Discuss priorities and allocate funds accordingly.

We are focused on executing your unique wedding day vision in our scenic space and allowing you and your guests to feel right at home. On our property offer a timeless, two-story, custom-built event space with all the modern amenities. We have a serene, outdoor space nestled among mature trees with a lake nearby that will provide a unique area for couples to exchange vows. Our open air patios with cozy spaces will be perfect for the overflow of a large reception, a company picnic or a family reunion.
