Emerson Fields event and wedding venue is located south of Macon, MO on 34 acres with direct access to Highway 63. We are focused on executing your unique event vision in our scenic space and allowing you and guests to feel right at home. On our property we are constructing a timeless, two-story, custom-built event space with all the modern amenities. We have a serene, outdoor space nestled among mature trees with a lake nearby that will provide a unique area for couples to exchange vows. Our open air patios with cozy spaces will be perfect for the overflow of a large reception, a company picnic or a family reunion. VENUE HIGHLIGHTS:

The best wedding photos usually start long before the photographer picks up their camera...

A great timeline creates breathing room. Breathing room creates better energy. And that makes for better photos.

At Emerson Fields, we think about the entire flow of the day when we’re helping couples build their timeline.

When should you get dressed?
When do you actually have time to be with your people?
Where does cocktail hour happen?
When can you sneak away for sunset photos without missing your reception?
How do we keep the day moving without making it feel rushed?

🚨 Most couples don’t overspend because they choose expensive vendors. They overspend because they hire them in the wrong order.

Here’s the tea...

Every wedding decision is connected, but most couples don’t realize that until they’re already committed.

Your venue determines your timeline.

Your timeline determines how many hours of photography coverage you’ll actually need.

Photography helps determine your ceremony time so you can make the most of natural light.

Your ceremony time affects cocktail hour, dinner, and your catering schedule.

Your guest count impacts florals, rentals, stationery, catering, desserts, and bar service.

And when those pieces shift (because they almost always do), you’re suddenly changing contracts, increasing quantities, or paying for things you never really needed.

We see couples book the photo booth before the florals. Rent large items that are already included in the venue. Reserve vendors before they’ve thought through how they actually want the day to look & feel. None of those decisions are “wrong”; they’re just happening before the foundation has been built.

That’s why we don’t hand our couples the keys and wish them luck.

Taylor & Samuel had the absolute best time with family and friends from all over the world; literally! (The bartenders received a tip in euros!)

We’ve been planning with this adorable couple for months- through a move from Indiana to Nashville even!
