🎉 Happy New Year!

I am searching to network more in 2023, and get back to intense self branding, like I did pre-pandemmy when I was obnoxiously knowing everyone at every event and involved in every board and group I could get my hands on. I miss her. I miss her so, so much.

Aside from the ones I am already invited to and tied to from recent years, does anyone recommend any networking groups that are genuinely empowering and connecting, not just 'here is what I do, gimme referral'?

I would LOVE to meet with other marketing, advertising and digital tech professionals and/or groups where we collab and bounce ideas off of rather than 'there is only one seat for your industry at this event'. I am looking for educators, upcoming wavemakers and the most optimistic souls in my or similar industries. For reference, I have worked in digital marketing and advertising for nearly 8 years ranging from country clubs, events, nonprofits, real estate and for the last few years - ALL industries with a global reach, based in the Midwest with Allen Media. I lost my drive for a bit, but never my skills, and it's time I find similar souls to raise the vibes even higher.

Most of my LinkedIn connections are from all over the world so it doesn't make much sense to post this there.. and I thought - wow I have not posted on this page in SO long, it almost doesn't even represent my capabilities anymore.

Hi yall!

Man.. it has been quite some time since I’ve posted to this page. Life happens, work happens and sooner or later your side hustle gets pushed as a waaaay side hustle. Throw in a global pandemmy and we are holding on by a string some days.

We all know the pandemic has impacted our businesses in some way or another and it’s gotten us in unsure territories for advertising and marketing our services and brands to uncomfortable measures.

😬 What’s the next new normal?!
🤷🏼‍♀️ How do we survive in the new times?!
🤷🏼‍♂️ Where do we need to pivot our branding to compete in the new world and how?!

💕 Happy Galentines Day, Ladies! 💋

February 13th is the day we leave the boys at home and celebrate the love between your best girlfriends! I personally love to give my gals an adorably extra decorated soirée with all the bright pinks and reds, creative cuisines and the cutest and most tasty cocktails! Unfortunately, that isn’t the case this year due to work schedules and some city difference- but I’m still gushing over some XOXO tablescapes & pink sugar rimmed champagne glasses! 🥂✨

So thankful for the amazing women in my life who have shaped me through it all over the years and continue to prove what a true friend is! Life would not be the same without those girls by my side through it all. 👯‍♀️

Here’s some ideas for today’s festivities! I can’t wait to host these at a personally owned venue one day for my ladies. Makes me so heart warmed to dream about! 🥰

Hello all! Laura here! I have another quick 2020 update!

I get a lot of calls/messages about booking weddings each week. However, since Paradise Cakes is a custom wedding cake bakery that is highly sought after, wedding dates are booking quickly. I am incredibly thankful for all the brides who inquire about a Paradise Cakes wedding cake! With that said, 2020 is almost completely booked! Yes, you read that correctly! At the end of January, I only have availability for 17 more weddings this year. I really hate having to turn brides away, but I only accept a certain number of weddings each weekend so I can give each order the time needed to make each cake tasty and beautiful.

If you are wanting to inquire about your wedding date, please check the available dates in the comments below. If I have your date available, call as soon as possible to schedule your consultation and tasting. I am currently booking March and April tastings as February tasting appointments are full.

Thank you to all the couples who have already booked your wedding cakes. I am truly looking forward to this year's future weddings!
