Tickets for The Mystic Creatures Ball are officially on sale now, and space within the realm is limited.

On May 2nd, The Nick Nackery will transform The Commons on Main Street into a mystical world where fae, dragons, woodland spirits, and creatures of legend gather for a magical evening of dinner, dancing, performers, and fantasy.

Your evening will include The Banquet of Beasts:

🍗 Dragonfire Bone Roost – BBQ chicken on the bone
🧀 Golden Griffin Mac – mac & cheese
🍲 Giant’s Hearth Beans – baked beans
🧁 Fairy Cloud Cakes – a sweet enchanted dessert

Enjoy an enchanted night featuring creature and fae performers roaming the realm, professional fantasy photography, dancing, and our Creature Court Costume Contest with prizes for:

After many years of costumes, chaos, creativity, and unforgettable Octobers… we have some important news to share.

We have made the decision to put The Nick Nackery up for sale.

This wasn’t a quick decision. It’s something we’ve thought about carefully as we look toward the next chapter of our lives. We’ve decided that now is a good time to explore the possibility of living abroad and embracing a new season personally and professionally.

But let us be very clear:
The Nick Nackery is NOT closing.

We will continue operating exactly as we always have for the foreseeable future, same hours, same events, same Halloween magic.

We fully plan to run through this season and beyond while we look for the right person or persons to carry this legacy forward.
Our biggest goal is finding someone who understands what this place means.

The Nick Nackery isn’t just a costume store. It’s 40 years of traditions. It’s first Halloween costumes. It’s Vampire Balls and Krampus nights. It’s dressing rooms full of laughter. It’s families who have shopped here for generations. We want to see that continue for decades to come.

If you’ve ever dreamed of owning a Halloween store… this might be your sign.

From the bottom of our hearts , thank you for supporting us, celebrating with us, and making this little horror shop something truly special.

What a night… and what a community.
To everyone who attended the Love Bites Vampire Ball, thank you for showing up, dressing up, dancing, and fully embracing the night. The energy in the room was unforgettable.

A special thank you to our incredible performers who brought the magic to life. From breathtaking aerial acts to stunning vocals and even creepy crawlies you helped create an atmosphere that was dark, elegant, and electric.

Huge appreciation to our DJ, Luci Fyre, who kept the dance floor alive all evening.

Thank you to Nox Photography for capturing the night so beautifully.

And of course, thank you to The Commons for providing such a stunning venue for the evening.

Events like this only happen because of the people behind the scenes and the incredible guests who bring the vision to life. We are so grateful for every one of you.

Note that tickets purchased for Friday evening are strictly valid only on that date and cannot be used on Saturday due to catering and seating arrangements. Additionally, we advise against purchasing secondhand tickets from unauthorized vendors, as we cannot guarantee their validity when scanned at the door.

We’re excited to welcome Luci Fyre as our DJ for both nights of the Love Bites Vampire Ball

Luci Fyre will be commanding the dance floor on Friday the 13th and Saturday the 14th, spinning dark, seductive beats to keep the night moving long after the sun has set.
From gothic club vibes to dance-floor anthems worthy of the undead, she’ll be setting the tone for a night of elegance, danger, and indulgence.
