We woke up at 4am for this.

And by “we,” I mean Juancho, who would like everyone to know that he is not a morning person 😂

But sunrise over the Colorado Springs rocks? Worth it.

The light was so beautiful it had us questioning whether we were shooting sunrise or sunset. And just when we thought we had found the perfect spot, we’d turn around and find another one.

Different landscape. Different light. Different little moment between these two.

They were so present with each other that we barely had to do anything. We just followed along, kept finding pretty places, and tried not to say “one more” and “last one”

This is why we love taking photos somewhere new. You never really know what you’re going to find. And that’s half the fun.

Okay, fall minis are happening. 🍂

We’ve been having way too much fun with these already… seeing some of our favorite couples (now parents!) year after year, all the pretty fall colors, and lots of laughing and catching up in between.

Honestly, it’s one of our favorite ways to wrap up wedding season and ease into cozy season. 🤎

I can’t help it…
I’m always drawn to posting whatever feels like the mood of the day. And right now, I’m fully leaning into it. 🍂

I found this little ch*****ne shower moment last night. Her dress soaked, his jacket probably never recovered, and somehow they’re just standing there laughing like there’s nowhere else they’d rather be.

Remember when posting one photo was all you cared about? No carousel recap to tell the whole story. Just one photo that could take you right back to a moment. We kind of miss that.

So today we’re bringing it back. One photo. One moment. One little piece of the day that makes you remember exactly what it felt like to be there.

Sometimes, one photograph is enough.

“Would you recommend locations for our engagement photos?”

Absolutely, but our first answer is usually a question back. 😉 Are you a city couple? Was your first date at a bar or coffee shop? Getting married downtown? Or are you more of a “take us to the trees” couple? 🌳 That works too.
Your engagement session is one of the few shoots that’s completely yours. No venue contract, no timeline, no guest list. Just you two, doing something that feels like you.
So yes, we’ll recommend locations but based on your story, your personalities, and what you love. Not just what we like.

And if you’re thinking, “We want something completely different. Something you haven’t done before.” Oh, we have a list for that too. Even a few in Europe. 🤭(I’m manifesting here.)
