One year ago, THIS happened. 💚

In just one incredible day, Elks Park got a brand-new playground—and we got a front-row seat to what happens when a community comes together and gets to work.

So many hands. So much teamwork. And by the end of the day…a whole new place for kids to climb, slide, play and make memories.

A year later, we still love looking back at this one. 🛝❤️

Thank you again to everyone who picked up a tool, hauled some mulch, lent a hand and helped make it happen. And a huge shout-out-thanks to KABOOM! and the incredible employees at Discover.

Happy playground-versary, Elks Park! 🎉

🍺 THIS FRIDAY: Tales on Tap: A Night of Stories, Sips & Surprises!

Grab a drink, pull up a chair and settle in for an evening of live storytelling—funny, surprising, moving and probably a little unpredictable.

Tales on Tap is Ridgeville Foundation's annual fundraiser supporting On the Ridge, our free summer music and theater series. Come have a great night with friends while helping us bring live music and theater to the community all summer long!

SUNDAY! Join us for Dance for Community, a feel-good hour of movement, music and giving back! Participants help make the playlist, so bring your song requests and get ready to move.
🕙 10–11 am
📍 Ridgeville Community House, 908 Seward St., Evanston
💛 FREE with a donation of any size to the Evanston Community Fridges Baby & Toddler Pantry

The pantry is especially in need of:
• Formula, including samples
• Baby and toddler snacks
• Diapers and pull-ups
• Wipes
• Baby hygiene items
Please bring food items that are unopened and not expired. No clothing, fabrics or toys, please.

Come dance, have some fun and help stock the pantry for local families. Every donation counts—and every good playlist needs your favorite song. 🎵❤️
