🍂🍁 FALL IS HERE 🍁🍂
Time For An Update From Ur Fave Hippie
🎃🧙🏼♀️🎃
✨ I’m Choosing My Calling ✨
Lately, I’ve felt this deep pull on my heart — a quiet but powerful voice saying, “This is it, Shannah Nadine.” And I think I’ve finally broken that down to what it truly means.
I’ve always had this passion for cooking — not just making food, but creating moments. Feeding people, sharing love through flavors, and watching the smiles that come with it. That’s where my heart lights up every single time. Feeding my family is my favorite part of the day!
But the hard truth is, running a brick-and-mortar restaurant in a small rural community is hard — really hard. You can lose everything chasing this dream. I did, and I haven’t really shared that part before. At first, it felt like failure… but it’s not. So much good came from those months we were in operation.
The cost of food (especially quality food), supplies, staff, and just keeping the doors open keeps climbing. And while I’ve poured my entire heart and soul into The Salty Hippie Café, I’ve realized the dream isn’t gone — it just needs to shift.
What I’m being called to do now is adjust, not abandon, that passion and way of life.
To take what we’ve built and let it evolve into something that fits this new chapter — especially with my chapter shifting so significantly since you last saw me! I have a whole big Brady Bunch family that I absolutely adore 🥰 (thank you, God) — so this passion has to adjust to support this family too.
Yes, the trailer moved — sorry guys! She needed a little TLC and some equipment fixes. But we’re working on it, and great things are coming!
Here’s what’s next for The Salty Hippie 🌊✨
🌿 Food Trailer Adventures — We’ll be hitting events and festivals, bringing good vibes and good eats wherever we go! (Schedule will be released once we go mobile.)
🏡 Market Stand — We’ll continue sharing our food, art, and love right here at home. (Locations for our stands will be shared In coming month)
💻 Salty Hippie Blog — I’ll be sharing recipes, stories, and a whole lot of heart from the Hippie Turner Kitchen to yours.
🍳 Cooking & Creative Classes — I’ll be offering cooking classes and other creative workshops to help others find the same joy food brings me.
🎉 Event Rentals & Catering — We’ll have space available for small gatherings, workshops, and celebrations — plus catering options to bring The Salty Hippie flavor straight to your table.
It’s time to let The Salty Hippie grow into more than just a café — into a brand, a lifestyle, a movement built on love & light, freedom, faith, and community.
And even though things are changing, I could never walk away or forget where I first called home. The café in Eure gave me my roots, my people, and my purpose. Now it’s time to spread those roots a little wider.
Because every time I imagine doing anything else, I feel sick to my stomach — like my spirit just rejects it. But when I think about this… about pouring my soul into sharing food, family, love, people, community, and creativity — I feel peace. I feel home.
So that’s what my family and I are choosing.
To trust this calling.
To chase faith, family, and freedom all in one breath.
To follow what makes my heart come alive — because when my heart is alive, it shines bright, and that’s when my family is happy and thriving.
✨ The Salty Hippie isn’t just a mermaids dream — it’s a PURPOSE, a WAY OF LIFE. ✨
Keep Smiling, to every lover out there, every supporter, every hippie soul, every hippie foodie, THANK YOU FOR BELIEVING IN US AND HOLDING FAITH AND SPACE FOR OUR RETURN!!! The downtime to rebuild my health and mindset was much needed! You Matter and are Loved So Much!
- Love & Light Always
