So a few weeks ago, we posted the coolest wedding dance moment from one of our amazing couples last year and mentioned that we would be sharing some of our favorite “look back moments” over the upcoming weeks and months. Then.........COVID. It’s taken us a few weeks to get into a new rhythm of working separately and from home - only popping into the office as necessary for files and such, as well as, learning to master the art of Zoom. I think we’re getting it, lol!
With that said, I’d love to share with you our first wedding at the Oregon Coast Aquarium. Randi and Steven Church.
When Randi first reached out to me and mentioned the aquarium, I was immediately intrigued. We love working in “out of the box” venues - places you wouldn’t normally think of for a wedding or event. Not to mention, I really enjoyed just spending time with them and getting to hear the story behind their choice. The aquarium holds a very special place in their hearts and in their family. It’s definitely one of their happy places.
While we had back up plans for rain, of course, (I mean, after all, it is the Oregon coast) the weekend was beautiful! Chea, from Chea Studio Photography was, as always, so amazing to work with and so talented in her ability to capture their love for the aquarium and the coast. Not to mention all the little details that were part of the weekend.
Rehearsal dinner at Rogue Ales & Spirits, a first look overlooking the beach, photos under the bridge, the ceremony in front of the shark tank, the dancing...oh the dancing and laughter (inside joke....Kevin! - anyone from the rehearsal dinner will follow me on that one. I still laugh about it every time the thought crosses my mind or I hear someone say Kevin).
These photos bring back all the memories from such an amazing weekend with an awesome couple!
It always makes me smile when Steve and Randy pop up on my personal page or stop by the office. Nothing makes our hearts happier than to continue to see our clients even after “the party is over”. Building those ongoing connections is one of our greatest joys.
