With the closing of The Lodge in the fall of 2025, we are excited to provide the city of Eudora and surrounding communities a wonderful new event space to enjoy many special occasions! The Gathering Place, located at 714 N Main St, Suite 101, Eudora, KS, was built by Asher Cohn, Circa 1860. This event space shares this historic landmark building with Main St Scoops and Sweets, located in Suite 102
. This party space can accommodate up to 60 seated guests. We provide up to 10- 4 ft white round tables, black chairs, a 7.2 ft wooden arch, and 2 bar height serving tables with power outlets. Any guest who would need refrigerator space or ovens for food storage/prep, the kitchen located inside Main St Scoops and Sweets is available upon request to help you with that need. Weekday Rates:
Monday-Thursday: 6am-11pm
Friday: 6am-3pm

Friday: 3pm-12am
Saturday/Sunday: 6am-12am

Weekend Package Rates:
Full weekend can include any combination of Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday

If you add on an ice cream bar, cake bar or charcuterie bar cart to your event, your hourly rental rate will be reduced by $10.00/hour. Weekday Rate: $50.00/hour 2 hour minimum
Weekend Rate: $80.00/hour 3 hour minimum
Payment for the venue rental
* We accept cash, checks, or credit cards. In use of a credit card, a 4% processing fee will be applied.
*Check payments are to be made to: Main St Scoops and Sweets
* A minimum of 50% of the event space rental fee is due at the time of booking.
* The remaining event rental fee is due 30 days prior to the event date. This space is very versatile and can be used for business meetings, bridal showers, birthday parties, anniversary parties, graduation parties, small weddings, fundraisers and so many more ways!
