n response to the concerns caused by the outbreak of COVID-19 please know that we are taking extra precautions in order to avoid and safeguard the health of our employees and, products, and you.
We have always placed extremely high importance on the cleanliness of our facility to prevent any foodborne pathogens. However, because of the seriousness of this outbreak, we have instituted additional routines our employees must follow. They are:
· Must take their temperature every day
· Sanitizing hands when entering our facility
· If you are showing any symptoms of sickness you will be asked to stay at home
· If any employee has a family member or has been in close contact with someone showing symptoms, the employee must notify their supervisor to assess potential exposure.
· Use disposable towels and COVID approved disinfectant cleaners in place of reusable cleaning towels
· Tissues must be used for coughing and sneezing
· Drivers use hand sanitizers when delivering
· Hand washing must be done every 30 minutes with a new set of gloves
The CDC has said there is no evidence that COVID-19 can be contracted through food and that is good news.
This is a difficult time and we wish you and your family members stay healthy. Hopefully, spring will bring us much needed relief.
