Our dear friends at Mikkelsen’s Pastry Shop are celebrating 25 years of bringing handcrafted pastries, warm smiles, and European charm to Southwest Florida this month—and we couldn’t be more proud to shout it from the rooftops (or at least from our feed)! And this wedding cake is still our favorite of all time! ⬇️

Founded by Paw and Elizabeth Mikkelsen, this Naples gem is so much more than a pastry shop. It’s a place where the desserts are impeccable, the service feels like family, and everyone somehow knows your favorite tart and your grandkids' names.

🎉 Happy International Day of Friendship! 🎉

Not everyone gets to build a business and laugh their way through it with their best friend — but here we are, proving you really can mix business with pleasure (and snacks).

We’ve cooked for hundreds of guests, set thousands of tables, and only mildly argued over how to fold a napkin.

Through it all, we’re still laughing, still growing, and still finishing each other’s… sentences (and maybe a glass of wine or two). 🍷

If you’re here in Southwest Florida and thought, “Wouldn’t it be nice if somebody just came and cooked dinner for me?” — that’s what I do. I’m a private chef, and I’ll come right to your kitchen to fix you a fresh meal you don’t have to lift a finger for.

And if you’ve got a neighbor or friend who’s always takin’ care of others, tell ‘em about me. Folks like that oughta be spoiled once in a while.

It’s been a minute since we posted, but this moment reminded us why we do what we do. 💛

We had the absolute joy of being part of a celebration marking 70 years of life and over 50 years of friendship. Fifty. Years. Of. Friendship. Let that sink in.

To be a small part of honoring a milestone like that? That’s the good stuff. The kind of celebration that fills the room with laughter, stories, and a lot of love (and okay, maybe a few happy tears too).

Thank you to this beautiful crew for letting One and Done with Cookie be part of your unforgettable evening. We’re so lucky to do what we love—and even luckier to do it for people like you.
