Sculptural minimalism is having a moment—2025 brides are saying more with less 💐✨ From sleek and airy sculptural pieces of art to chic purse bouquets, florals are officially fashion and I’m here for it.

This sculptural bouquet was a challenge for me to keep things very minimal to not cover too much of the original wire spiral sculpture I hand made from aluminum wire. We learned a technique in flower class yesterday to insert three pieces of aluminum wire into a power drill to twist it and form a stronger and more textural wire. I wanted to make my sculptural bouquet out of one single unit of the twisted wire. I used three pieces, each 3 yards long, twisted it with the power drill using a friend’s help (one person holds the wire and the other pushes the button on the drill.) The spiral and the arm cuff is all the same unit of the wire.

Thank you for jumping in last minute and modeling for the .floristry floral intensive! You’re absolutely stunning and your sleek bridal dress was the perfect compliment to our sculptural bouquets!!!

I’m on my way to a 2-day floral immersive with a .floristry, but first wanted to show you the wildflower-inspired florals for the sweetest backyard wedding yesterday. 99.9% locally grown flowers (I did pop in a few imported Hanoi ranunculus but everything else is Oregon grown. I’ll update the farmers and wedding vendors soon).

It’s dahlia season again and I am in love with dahlias. Prepare to see lots of them over the remainder of wedding season 🥰
