Spencer and Alexa had a beautiful wedding day this past August 22nd - and it was an honor to marry them at Carp River Gardens and then serve as their Master Of Ceremonies & DJ at UP North Lodge. A PACKED dance floor from the word "GO!" with wonderful families to celebrate is the recipe for a successful Saturday celebration. When I first met with Mother of the Bride Julie, we immediately connected and I understood how important this day was to her, her family as well as her daughter Kenzie and her soon to be husband Mason.

Well...the apple doesn't fall far from the tree...and Kenzie gave a BEAUTIFUL special thank you to her Mom after her Matron Of Honor's Toast. They planned LOTS of requests, which we played 49 out of their 51 song requests that night...mixing genres from Abba to Waka Flocka Flame and AC/DC to Walk The Moon. Thanks again to Makenzie & Mason and their families for trusting us with some of life's MOST IMPORTANT moments. Here's the recap, along with an impromptu karaoke moment with her Maid Of Honor :).

This past Saturday Rachel and Ben and their families converged on Terrace Bay Hotel to help celebrate their nuptials and CELEBRATE they did! From their romantic first dance immediately following their introductions to the T-Shirt Toss where some lucky guests got to wear a T shirt the rest of the night stating they got silly at Stier's wedding - it was a BLAST! We even had one of their younger guests busting out the worm on the dance floor! Congrats to Rachel and Ben and their families!

WOW!!! what. A. PARTY!!! Alaina and Duncan had their wedding at Terrace Bay Hotel a couple of weeks ago and we are STILL coming down from the high that was their EVENT! Duncan's Grandmother was their ring woman...how special was that! The Wedding Party entrance to "Don't Stop Me Now" by Queen prompted smiles all over, and Duncan and Alaina walked in to the inimitable sounds of "Big Poppa" by Notorious BIG. Heartfelt and emotional moments were created for their parent dances and their Photographer Lynn Eugate from Vagary Photography was A DREAM to work with! Their dance floor was NONSTOP with the sounds of Beiber, Ke$ha, Tee Grizzly, Pitbull and ended with the finale of "Glad You Came" by The Wanted. Thanks Alaina and Duncan for having us!

WHAT A PARTY!!!! Alaina and Duncan had a beautiful ceremony overlooking Lake Michigan at Terrace Bay Hotel yesterday, and it was AWESOME to work with such a pro as Lynn from Vagary Photography. The dance floor was hype from the mixing all night, and I guarantee they and their family and friends had sore feet and muscles this morning. Congrats Alaina and Duncan!

Throwback to one year ago where we celebrated love with Sarah and Austin at Terrace Bay Hotel. We provided the ceremony sound to ensure that every word of their Officiant Nick was heard by their guests. They had a beautiful First Dance to the song Stargazing (Moonlight Version) by Myles Smith, very sentimental Mother Daughter and Mother Son moments. During our planning, Sarah told me she wanted later in the night to be like a 2016 Frat Basement party, and telling by the half naked groomsmen at the end of the night, that vision was achieved! Congrats to 1 year married Sarah and Austin!

Why we do what we do. Katelynn and her Father Bryce had an emotional, heartfelt Father Daughter dance yesterday at Terrace Bay Hotel. Congrats to Katelynn and Hayden!!
