JERSIE ~ Class of '26 Model! 🪻I love when my seniors are 100% on the same wavelength - and Jersie and I could not be more in sync! We both geek out about planning the perfect outfits (and share a love of true crime documentaries 😂). We had a blast planning her summer session and creating these dreamy springy photos in the studio this week!

Class of '26 Model ~ EMMA! What a joy it is just to be around this ray of sunshine. Her mom and I were chatting about how fast it happens - your baby turning into a kid and now turning into an adult. It's so surreal, and so so special to capture this transition for my clients. The older I get, the more meaningful it feels - I can't quite put it into words but I guess I'm just saying I really love my job! 💗 Now is a great time to book senior photos for this summer while the best dates are still available!!

It's not often I photograph little ones, even my own. I like to give direction and my high school seniors are A+ students when it comes to following directions!! 6 and under? Not so much!!

However, when I had the opportunity to collaborate again with one of my favorite makers, - I couldn't say no!! These cutie pies *almost* had me rethinking my no children policy....alllllllmost. The new studio props definitely helped (these are available when you rent the studio by the way)!

Check out magillclothing.com for the cutest custom felt lettered sweatshirts, along with embroidery and screen prints too! You can get customs made in adult and child sizes - sounds like a twinning opportunity waiting to happen! 👯‍♀️

Owen ~ Class of '26 Model! Never have I ever photographed a guy who was so at ease in front of the camera! I have his mom to thank for years of childhood photo shoots and for training him well!!! He's got a megawatt smile (like it's impossible not to smile back when you look at these right?!) but he can also really can pull off the serious look. Can't wait for Owen's summer session!!

AUBREY ~ Class of '26 model!! I loved hanging out with Aubrey, she is so fun and kind. We were chatting about outfits for senior photos which makes me so excited for this summer's senior sessions! Where are we shopping for senior photo outfits these days?!

Don't forget to check locally! We have two NEW locally owned options in Esky: .boutique_ for all of the cute and girly things and for outdoorsy/sporty gear. too! Marquette has the adorable and , and in Negaunee!

Combine these with thrifting and you could easily find everything you need for senior photos right in the UP.

🙋‍♀️ Pop in for a quick tour of the studio and say hi!

📷 Bring your camera and shoot some content / test the light in the studio.

I stepped out of my winter hibernation on Saturday to join Lynn for a creative shoot at the frozen waterfalls of Munising with a lovely group of gals! Lynn & I styled the girls in vintage and it all came together perfectly. We even squeezed in a pit stop at the Outhouse Races and a delicious dinner at the Brownstone. More to come!
