Deborah worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for several years with American Nursing Care. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother whose kindness and caring spirit touched the lives of those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Prior to his marriage, Don proudly served his country as a Vietnam veteran in the United States Army. Following his military service, he dedicated 33 years to serving as a mail clerk with the United States Postal Service. In his little free time, Don enjoyed watching University of Kentucky basketball and was a man who found joy in the simple things in life. He loved fishing, camping, golfing, watching old movies, and especially treasuring the time he got to spend with his family. One of his favorite places was his cottage at Williamstown Lake, where he enjoyed spending most of his summers.

A doting father of two, but a fatherly figure to many, Lamont was a devoted husband, all-weather friend, dependable mentor, and respected colleague. After graduating Clemson University and the Medical University of South Carolina, Lamont specialized in Emergency Medicine at the University of Louisville, where he completed his residency. During the 40 years he worked as an emergency physician, Lamont saved many lives and improved many more. He enjoyed cards, fishing, and fine port, bourbon, and ci**rs — all in moderation (most of the time). Above all, he delighted in telling jokes among good company, which he had a knack for finding and keeping.

Bill was an avid golfer and absolutely loved the game. He loved it so much, he taught Paula to the play the game. Above all his achievements, his favorite title was Pop-Pop. He treasured every moment spent with his two grandsons, who were truly the light of his life, and he filled their lives with endless love, laughter, and wisdom.

Jocelyn loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, catching up on the phone with them, attending craft fairs and yard sales, finding great shopping bargains, a porch filled with flowers and gladiolus, listening to the Backstreet Boys, watching, feeding, and record keeping about birds, and screaming at the TV during Buffalo Bills Football games.

I lost you, but I got to love you, and I got to be loved by you. Even in my grief, I will forever be grateful for that.

The list of Martha’s board and committee memberships is long and varied. She used her skills and assisted others to enhance their own. She taught, mentored, tutored, translated, wrote articles, planned, organized, spoke, lectured, and chaired. Martha smiled easily, laughed readily, and worked hard. She was personable, kind, and thoughtful, a good friend.
