The Angels Gone Too Soon Pennsylvania Memorial Wall – A Lasting Tribute to Pennsylvania's Children

Among Riders Advocating Against Child Abuse (RAACA)'s most meaningful and enduring accomplishments is The Angels Gone Too Soon Pennsylvania Memorial Wall, located at 9333 Tate Road in Erie, Pennsylvania.

The memorial stands as a solemn and permanent tribute to children whose lives were tragically lost as a result of abuse or neglect. More than a monument, it serves as a place of reflection, remembrance, and healing for families who have endured unimaginable loss. It is a sacred space where loved ones can honor the memory of children taken far too soon while finding comfort in knowing they will never be forgotten.

For visitors, the wall provides a powerful and often emotional reminder of the devastating impact child abuse has on families, communities, and society as a whole. Each name etched into the memorial represents a young life filled with potential, dreams, and possibilities that were never given the chance to flourish.

The memorial currently honors nearly 400 children from across Pennsylvania who lost their lives between 1992 and 2025. Every name tells a story and reinforces the urgent need for awareness, education, prevention, and advocacy.

The project has reached several significant milestones:
• May 2021 – Groundbreaking ceremony
• June 2024 – Official public unveiling
• June 2025 – Most recent annual addition of names

Each year, additional names are added to the memorial, ensuring that these children are remembered with dignity and respect. While the wall continues to grow, its purpose remains unchanged: to give a voice to those who can no longer speak, to support families who continue to grieve, and to inspire communities to take action against child abuse.

The Angels Gone Too Soon Pennsylvania Memorial Wall is more than stone and engraved names. It is a promise that these children will never be forgotten, a call to protect those who are vulnerable, and a lasting symbol of RAACA's commitment to advocating for every child. Through remembrance comes awareness, and through awareness comes the hope that one day fewer names will need to be added.

Thank you RAACA for the work you do. Here is how to support…

Riders Advocating Against Child Abuse (RAACA): A Motorcycle Community Making a Difference

Since 2009, Riders Advocating Against Child Abuse (RAACA) has shown that the motorcycle community is about more than riding—it is about protecting and supporting children. Founded in Erie County, Pennsylvania, RAACA has grown from a local grassroots effort into a multi-state nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness, supporting survivors, and helping families affected by child abuse.

Today, active chapters serve Erie, Crawford, Venango, and Beaver Counties in Pennsylvania, as well as Montgomery County, Kentucky. Through awareness rides, fundraising events, public education, and community outreach, RAACA works to ensure that no child faces abuse alone.

RAACA partners with child advocacy centers, victim service agencies, and local organizations to strengthen support systems for children and families. Their volunteers dedicate countless hours to raising awareness and encouraging communities to recognize and report abuse.

One of the organization's most meaningful initiatives is The Angels Gone Too Soon Pennsylvania Memorial Wall, which honors children lost to abuse while serving as a powerful reminder of the importance of prevention and advocacy. Mark Clausen and the Fallen Riders Memorial Fund: Standing Beside Motorcycle Families When They Need It Most

For many in the motorcycle community, Mark Clausen is a familiar face. As National Director of the Fallen Riders Memorial Fund, Fallen Riders have dedicated countless hours to helping motorcycle families during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

The Fallen Riders Memorial Fund was created by bikers, for bikers. This 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization exists to help families who have lost a loved one in a motorcycle accident that was caused through no fault of their own. In the aftermath of tragedy, families are often faced with overwhelming grief while also trying to manage unexpected financial burdens. Fallen Riders steps in quickly to help bridge that gap.

Through a simple application process, financial assistance is sent rapidly to qualifying families. The organization understands the motorcycle community because its members are part of that community themselves. Their mission is built on integrity, compassion, and support when it matters most.

Every dollar raised goes directly toward helping families and honoring the legacy of riders who were lost too soon. I have personally witnessed the Fallen Riders organization reach out with genuine care, compassion, and thoughtfulness during some of the most difficult times families can face.

There is no cost to become a member, and the organization continually gives back by supporting charity rides, motorcycle events, benefit runs, and community meetings throughout the year.

Meetings are held on the first Monday of every month at Wesleyville American Legion Post 571. Stop out and see what it is all about and how you can get involved.

Two major fundraising events are held annually:
• Celebrity Bartending Event (Typically in February)
• Fallen Riders Memorial Fund Golf Tournament

The 2026 Fallen Riders Memorial Fund Golf Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Mound Grove Golf Course in Waterford, Pennsylvania. The event promises a memorable day of golf, community, and purpose as riders, supporters, and local residents come together to honor fallen motorcyclists and support the families they leave behind. Registration and more details here: https://fallenridersmemorialfund.org/

Beyond his work with Fallen Riders, Mark Clausen volunteers with numerous charities that are close to his heart. His dedication to the motorcycle community and charitable causes reflects what many riders already know — organizations like Fallen Riders Memorial Fund are built by people who genuinely care.

Ready to make a REAL difference? Ready to join or start a local chapter rooted in patriotism, community service, and giving back, now is the time to get involved. Fallen Riders Memorial Fund welcomes individuals who want to make a positive impact in their community while honoring those we have lost.
