Opening a business, even if you are just stepping in as the new owner, is an adventure…

I am still waiting on the state Sales Tax ID, which is usually a 3-4 day process, but because I’m lucky- it’s more like a 3-4 WEEK timeframe 🤪

So I’m still working on things, but it’s going to be early July instead of June before we open. Thanks for being patient while we get all the ducks in a row!

Current personality: flower shop mood board…. And a concerning amount of screenshots… 😳

Turns out if you spend years collecting photos of flower shops, bookstores, holiday windows, garden markets, and beautiful little corners of the world… eventually you end up opening a flower shop with the hopes that it looks like all of those.

We’ve got a ways to go, but this is the vision that’s in my head.

Turns out opening a flower shop involves a few more forms than flowers.

Wildflower is nearly ready, but we’re waiting on one final piece of paperwork before we can officially open our doors. As soon as our sales tax ID arrives, we can finalize our city business license and get everything in place.

So we’re moving our opening date to June 15.

The extra time means a few more days to paint, plant, fluff, gather beautiful things, and make this little shop feel exactly the way we hope it will.

Thank you for cheering us on through the transformation. We can’t wait to welcome you inside.
