That's a wrap on Weevilcon 2024! Cosplay, competition and gaming were top-notch during this year's event. A huge shout out to Weevil Cards & Collectibles for putting everything together and making it a great second year for the convention. We can't wait to see what you all have in store for next year! The end of April was a little warm and a lot windy but that didn't stop the crowds from showing up in downtown Troy for this year's ! With dozens of artists, craft venders, constant free entertainment on the main stage in addition to an entire street full of delicious food trucks and booths there was something for just about everyone! Special thanks to TroyFest Art & Craft Festival for letting us come out and cover the event!

The weather was hot in the City of Progress, which made it the perfect time to host the inaugural Sweet Tea Fest!

We got to enjoy some live music from Nashville- based country group Sweet Tea Trio, watched contestants guzzle their way to prizes and bragging rights in the All-In Tea Drinking Contest and, of course, drink all the sweet tea and local merchandise we could get our hands on.

Thanks to Downtown Enterprise and City of Enterprise, Ala. for putting it all together as well as Drink Milo's and all the other sponsors for providing tea for the event and the contests.

Nothing beats a day at the farm, or at least Landmark Park's Spring Farm Day. 🌸From the dulcimers and home cooked meals to the sounds of blacksmithing and sawing, it's easy to imagine the past. Step back in time with these photos and remember the days of old.

They'll have agriculture demonstrations, blacksmithing, entertainment and lots of other things to check out (And of course we'll be out there getting pictures of as much as we can!)! BIG NEWS: Matt Ray Photography is back in Bama—Troy, Alabama! Despite the beauty of the Rockies and the Smokies, we couldn’t get lower Alabama out of our heads and hearts. We’re so pleased to be home.

That said, we are ready to resume our role as one of the best community event photographers in the area.

After a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19, the Rossini Festival made its grand return to downtown Knoxville! Knoxville Opera’s Rossini Festival International Street Fair, which was created to celebrate the performing arts, featured performers, artists, vendors and local groups.
