1946–2026

Some people make music. Some people become part of the soundtrack of our lives.

Today, we lost Dolly Parton — a songwriter, storyteller, actress, philanthropist, and one of those rare people who seemed to belong to everyone.

For generations, her songs brought us together. We sang them in our cars, at weddings, in bars, at karaoke, and yes — more than a few times at Top Trivia. But Dolly’s legacy reaches far beyond the music. Through her generosity, humor, kindness, and especially her work putting books into the hands of millions of children, she made the world a little better while she was here.

There will never be another Dolly.

Tonight, turn up your favorite Dolly Parton song and sing it a little louder.

Thank you for the music, the laughter, and the memories. ❤️
