Congrats to sweet Auden for making her cello “debut” with the Rucker Rhythms today! She did a great job accompanying the choir to “Believe” from the Polar Express! The choir did a great job on the program as well! Singing is so important for all musicians!

Wow! Matthew started this Suzuki piece just 2 weeks ago! This is a tremendous amount of progress!
Matthew started playing cello through the ESCC homeschool strings program just 13 months ago and started private lessons with Dr. Gresko last spring. He’s doing phenomenal work! Keep up the good work buddy!

Congratulations to private students Ruth Anne Mitchell and Benja Livingston on their successful auditions and admittance to the Alabama All State Orchestra and South Region Orchestra Festivals.
Ruth Anne earned an impressive 4th chair ranking in the region symphony orchestra, and placement in the All State Festival (highest) orchestra.
Benja earned the principal cellist role (1st chair) for the Region String Orchestra and placement in the Consort String Orchestra.
Both musicians will reaudition for chair placement in their respective All State orchestras in Tuscaloosa this coming February. Until then, happy practicing, ladies!! 💕🎶
